Copyright and DMCA Policy

This policy explains how LarpTube handles copyright complaints and counter-notices.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Respect for Rights

Users may only upload, import, embed, or share content they own or have permission to use. LarpTube may remove or restrict content that appears to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Submitting a Takedown Notice

If copyright reporting tools are made available in the product, copyright owners or authorized agents should use those tools to submit a notice. A complete notice should include:

  • Your full legal name, organization if applicable, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  • The LarpTube URL or other information sufficient to locate the allegedly infringing material.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the owner, agent, or law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act.

Counter-Notices

If content was removed because of a copyright complaint and the user believes removal was a mistake or the use was authorized, the user may submit a counter-notice through any counter-notice tools made available in the product. A counter-notice should include:

  • The user's full legal name, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
  • Identification of the removed content and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and acceptance of service of process from the complaining party.
  • The user's physical or electronic signature.

Repeat Infringers

LarpTube may terminate or restrict accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright or repeatedly submit content that creates rights-related risk.

False Claims

Copyright notices and counter-notices are legal statements. Submitting false, abusive, or bad-faith claims may create legal liability and may result in platform enforcement.
